Group RecXercise

Class registration opens 7 days in advance. Participants are required to pre-register for a guaranteed spot. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to class start time. Please arrive with adequate time to check-in and get set up. Studio doors are closed 5 MINUTES following class start time to ensure participant safety. Late entry past the 5 minutes is not permitted.

For classes in the fall and spring semesters, an All Access Pass includes ALL RecXercise classes, $5 classes include all cycle classes and all classes that fall between 4pm – 7pm. All other classes are FREE!

All Group RecXercise classes are FREE during the summer for all Rec members!

Specialty Classes

Registration is required before attending any Specialty Class. Once a specialty class is full please sign up for a spot on the waiting list. You will be contacted via email if a spot opens up for you. Lastly, once you register for a class and time, you cannot move into a different time slot if that time slot is full. Download the Rec Sports app and sign up under the ‘Fitness & Wellness’ icon to register for a class. Schedules are subject to change.

Pilates Reformer

Derived from the rich conceptual sequence developed by Joseph Pilates, participants will engage the mind and body to execute exercises on a Reformer. These exercises involve the whole person while bringing attention to breath, proper form, and efficient movement patterns. Focused on strength, balance, and stability, this class creates dynamic challenges that will elevate your practice!

1:1 Training

Take your training to the next level with personalized, one-on-one Pilates Reformer instruction before joining a group class. Sessions take place in the newly renovated Pilates Reformer Studio, Room 304 in the Student Rec Center, and begin with a movement assessment to create a program tailored to your goals. Complete the interest form below to get paired with an instructor and get started.

Boxing BootCamp

Unleash your inner athlete with our authentic boxing program led by nationally certified instructors! Train with heavy bags, speed bags, Boxmaster and full-body conditioning while building strength, endurance and confidence. This progressive program is designed for all fitness levels. Gloves and wraps are required.

Fitness Outreach

Sign up for a nationally certified group exercise instructor or personal trainer to lead a private class at any Rec facility or in your residence hall, organizational or departmental meeting, special event, or educational lecture.
