Donations to this account support improvements to facilities, operations, and programs. This allows Rec Sports to provide the highest quality facilities and services while keeping the cost to students as low as possible.

Giving to the following scholarship endowments provides financial support to deserving Rec Sports student employees in the form of scholarship funding.

Sport Club Scholarships

Giving to the following scholarship endowments provides financial support to deserving Aggie students involved in specific clubs in the form of scholarship funding.

Sport Club Endowments

Giving to the following endowments provides financial support to the specific club. Distributions from these endowments may be used for, but are not limited to, travel, official competition events, accommodations, entry fees, scholarships and equipment.

Non-Endowed Support

Giving to the following non-endowed funds provides financial support that is available for immediate use to the specific club, program, or the department as a whole.

ALUMNI EVENTS

Rec Sports hosts two annual alumni tailgates—one in the fall before a home football game and one in the spring during a home baseball weekend—bringing former staff together to reconnect and celebrate Aggie traditions. Centennial Celebration

This centennial football tailgate will bring together Rec Sports alumni, guests and friends to celebrate 100 years of Texas A&M Rec Sports. Set within the excitement of a football weekend, the event offers a chance to reconnect. This years tailgate will be hosted on November 14, 2026, 2.5 hours prior to the TAMU vs Tennessee football game.

The Rec Sports Tailgate is held during the fall semester before a home Texas A&M football game, providing a great opportunity for members of the Rec Sports family to gather together to reunite, enjoy the camaraderie, and learn more about what Rec Sports has been doing as well as plans for the future. The Rec Sports Reunion is held each spring, bringing the Rec Sports family together to reconnect and learn about the department’s latest updates and future plans. Thank you to those who have attended previous events, and save the date for April 10-11, 2026. Registration details coming soon.

Rec Sports Giving Day is your chance to invest in the wellbeing of current and future Aggies. ”Play it Forward” by donating to the Rec Sports Excellence Fund, which supports the Department of Recreational Sports vision and mission. Contributions will be used to update facilities, enhance operations, and enrich programs. This provides more opportunities for students to learn, grow, and create unforgettable experiences while keeping the cost as affordable as possible. WALK OF CHAMPIONS

Show your support for Rec Sports and the health and wellbeing of Aggies by purchasing an engraved brick on our Walk of Champions. Your engraved brick, placed in front of the Student Recreation Center, will be a lasting legacy to honor a graduate, remember a loved one, pay tribute to a professor or colleague, or celebrate an academic or professional achievement. Your gift will help support the Department of Recreational Sports provide all Aggies with the programs and facilities to challenge themselves, test their limits, and gain the benefits of leadership development. You can also purchase a commemorative keepsake brick for your home, office, or as a gift for $100. A commemorative brick is an identical 8×4 copy of your brick installed on the Walk of Champions that is shipped to you.

Please note: We only ship commemorative bricks to addresses located in the United States due to shipping costs. Commemorative bricks cannot be purchased without an installed brick unless an order has been previously submitted.

Step 1: Engraving Form: Complete the online order form (below) which will be used by the engraving team to know how many bricks and what characters you want engraved. Remember to make note of the total amount of your order so that you can proceed easily to online payment in step 2.

Step 2: Payment: You can pay by credit card through the Texas A&M Foundation Online Giving Portal at http://give.am/WalkofChampions. Be sure to enter the correct dollar amount for your order.
