100 Years of Texas A&M Rec Sports

Since 1926, Rec Sports has played a defining role in campus life at Texas A&M. From its early days to the facilities and programs students enjoy today, Rec Sports has connected generations of Aggies through movement, leadership and community. In 2026, join us in celebrating 100 years through special events and a look back at the moments that shaped Rec Sports. Welcome to Texas A&M Rec Sports, where we offer a wide range of activities to keep you healthy and active during your college journey. With six convenient facilities across the College Station campus, you’ll find everything from swimming and rock climbing to personal training and group yoga. There’s something for everyone, and we’re here to help you stay fit, have fun, and make the most of your time at Texas A&M University.
