Happy New Year, Ags! We hope you had a restful break and are ready to take on the new semester and year. Whether you’re looking to crush fitness goals, try something new, or just have fun, Rec Sports is here to help you get moving and achieve your goals—with FREE classes to kickstart your journey!

No experience? No problem! Free Week makes it easier than ever to find your next step. Beginning the first week of school, Rec Sports will host Free Week, where you can jumpstart your recreation routine at no cost. Plus, enjoy the chance to win free swag and more when you participate in one of our free programs.

Monday, Jan. 13 – Sunday, Jan. 19

GROUP RECXERCISE FREE WEEK

All Group RecXercise classes at Rec Sports will be free between Jan. 13 through the 19. With Group RecXercise, you can discover new ways to workout this semester a la carte and at your convenience. Try out a new dance style, give it your all at Body Blaster, or get the best of two worlds with Yoglates, all at no cost!

Monday, Jan. 13 – Friday, Jan. 17

Free Adult Learn-to-Swim Classes

Dive into the spring semester with Rec Sports Aquatics! For one week only, you can try out a guided swimming program to hone your skills in the pool. The one-hour classes will be hosted Monday through Thursday evenings in the Student Rec Center.

Monday, Jan. 20 – Friday, Jan. 24

SPECIALTY CLASSES FREE WEEK

Boxing BootCamp and Pilates Reformer are back! These five-week programs entail convenient weekly workout classes that will help you build strength, mindfulness, and connections with other Aggies outside of the classroom. Try them both for free all week before deciding on a package!

Monday, Jan. 27 – Thursday, Jan. 30

SMALL GROUP TRAINING FREE WEEK

Drop by the personal training suite at the Rec for Aggie Fit, and Aggie Strong! These guided group sessions help you develop your training with individualized guidance and motivation, giving you access to exclusive tools and coaches ready to tailor the challenge just for you.

Tuesday, Feb. 4 and Thursday, Feb. 6

Aggie Performance FREE WEEK

Aggie Performance, located in the turf area at the Southside Rec, is a small group class designed to enhance athletic performance. The program focuses on developing speed, agility, quickness, and power through a regimen that includes turf movements, high-intensity cardio bouts, heavy resistance, and mental toughness.
