YOUTH PROGRAMS
Welcome to Texas A&M Rec Sports’ Youth Programs! Our mission is to offer recreational opportunities for youth in the Bryan-College Station community, while enhancing the education experience of Texas A&M students. Specifically designed for children, our program aims to instill a lifelong appreciation for fitness, camaraderie, and enjoyment. We extend a warm invitation to young Aggies to discover the engaging side of physical activity through recreational games, team sports, swimming, and outdoor adventures. Our activities are thoughtfully curated to not only cultivate a lasting interest in recreational sports but also to foster a sense of accomplishment across physical, social, and emotional realms.
In addition to benefiting local kids, our program also provides valuable work experience for students at Texas A&M, who now have the opportunity to become camp counselors for summer camps. This offers a chance to actively contribute to the positive experiences of young participants while gaining essential leadership skills.
