Rec Sports is proud of the development opportunities for Texas A&M students through employment and leadership roles. Each year, Rec Sports employs more than 1,000 Aggies, putting over $3.3 million back into the pockets of students.

Some positions are open to students only, while others are open to both students and non-students. Below are the part-time employment opportunities available with Rec Sports. How to apply for a job:

  2. Fill out the part-time employee job application below, making sure to follow any directions noted with the position. Once completed, bring your application to the Student Recreation Center, Room 202.

Intramural ​Sports ​Coordinator

The ​Intramural ​Sports ​Coordinator ​will ​assist ​in ​the ​management ​of ​a ​comprehensive ​intramural ​sports ​program. ​This ​is ​a ​student-oriented ​position ​that ​will ​have ​a ​considerable ​focus ​on ​student ​supervision ​and ​development. ​They ​will ​also ​lead ​or ​assist ​in ​the ​administration ​of ​approximately ​30-40 ​sports ​and ​programs ​each ​semester. ​Additional ​responsibilities ​include, ​but ​are ​not ​limited ​to, ​assisting ​with ​budgeting, ​inventory ​and ​purchasing, ​marketing, ​risk ​management ​and ​emergency ​procedures, ​assessment, ​facility ​management ​and ​maintenance, ​event ​management, ​and ​programming.

Sport Clubs Coordinator

The ​Sport ​Clubs ​Coordinator ​is ​part ​of ​the ​Sport ​Clubs ​team ​that ​is ​responsible ​for ​the ​general ​oversight ​of ​the ​clubs ​(approximately ​39) ​under ​the ​Rec ​Sports ​umbrella, ​including ​budgeting, ​staffing ​events ​& ​activities, ​risk ​management, ​and ​emergency ​procedures. ​
