Under the supervision of the Aquatics Professional Staff, Aquatic Supervisors, and Head Lifeguards enforce safety regulations for the protection of pool patrons; make suggestions for new or updated regulations; assist in general maintenance; and perform other duties as assigned. This will be contingent on the availability of the Lifeguard Certification Course. All applicants must possess an American Red Cross lifeguard certification and participate in a lifeguard skills screening and interview prior to being offered a job. Applicants will also be scheduled for a skills test and interview once they receive an e-mail confirmation and review of their application materials. Hiring will be contingent upon passing a criminal background check. The application process will remain open until all positions are filled. |
Work Hours/Anticipated Schedule |

The Lifeguard position offers a flexible schedule that works around class schedules. Lifeguards’ weekly workload may vary from 15 to 29.75 hours. Lifeguards are required to work weekly, weekends, holidays, and breaks. The lifeguard position requires a minimum of 12 hours of availability throughout the week.
