If an individual requires assistance in finding a team to join, the free agent program can help by placing that person on a team in need of players. To officially become a recognized free agent, visit http://imleagues.com/tamu and create an account if not done already.

Select the desired sport and indicate as a free agent in as many divisions within a league as preferred. For instance, one might list availability in multiple Coed Competitive Sand Volleyball divisions, such as CC01 Monday 6:30, CC04 Tuesday 7:20, CC06 Wednesday 9:00, and CC07 Thursday 9:50, based on schedule compatibility. Choose a division and click the green “Register/Signup” button to sign up as a free agent. Additional background information on your sports experience can be provided if desired. Additional divisions in the same league can also be checked from this page. Ultimately, this process aids team captains in recruiting players for their roster if they choose to do so.

The Intramural Sports Office endeavors to facilitate matches between free agents and teams seeking players before each season begins. It’s important to understand that a perfect solution is not always guaranteed, and there are no assurances of being placed on a team. For more information, contact the Intramural Office at (979) 862-1884.

Play Pass Options

Any individual with an active Rec Sports membership can buy their preferred Intramural Sports Pass. Participation in Intramural Sports requires both the Rec Sports membership and a valid pass; without these, players cannot participate. There are no additional fees for participating in Intramural Sports beyond the Rec Sports membership and the valid pass, meaning there is no extra charge for creating a team.

Unlimited Play Pass:

  • Provides access to all leagues, tournaments, and special events for the current semester.
  • Participants must adhere to traditional league restrictions (e.g., playing on only one team per league).
  • Fall and spring passes cost $25, while summer passes are $5, covering both sessions.

Tournament Pass:

  • Grants access to any ONE tournament or special event for the current semester.
  • Valid for the entire duration of the chosen tournament, regardless of the number of games or days involved.

Single-Use (24 Hour) Pass:

  • Allows participation in any ONE game during the current semester.
  • Expires within 24 hours of purchase.

If you decide to upgrade from a Tournament Pass or a Single-Game Pass to an Unlimited Play Pass later, you can do so at any time. The system will automatically charge the price difference for the upgrade.

No refunds will be issued if you purchase a pass and later choose not to join a team.

If you are representing an organization or a group and wish to buy Play Passes for multiple individuals, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the purchaser has established an account at www.imleagues.com/tamu.
  2. Confirm that all participants you intend to purchase Play Passes for have created accounts at www.imleagues.com/tamu.
  3. After verifying the completion of steps one and two, send an email to Nick Heiar at [email protected]. The email should include the full names and UINs of all students for whom you intend to purchase a Play Pass.

4.) Once received, the Intramural Sports Office will send instructions, including your total charge and how to complete your payment.
