FALL AT REC SPORTS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
From Aggie Performance to student employment, the Rec is in full swing this semester
With the fall semester around the corner, Rec Sports is building momentum with fresh opportunities on the way. While the Student Recreation Center is still undergoing renovations, students can expect expanded access once classes begin. Here’s everything you need to know to keep your fitness on track this year.
Access & Updates
Rec-A-Palooza is almost here! Mark your calendar for Sunday, Aug. 24, from 1pm to 4pm at the Student Rec Center. Get ready for a party at the Rec where you can challenge yourself, play games, win swag and learn all about the Rec Sports community.
To enter the event, you’ll need to download the Rec Sports app, be sure to do it ahead of time for faster check-in. This year, entry will be through the south entrance of the Student Rec Center. If you’re walking past Kyle Field under Welborn through Pickard Pass, follow the sidewalk between the Rec and the railroad tracks for the quickest route.
Until then, the main entrance for the Student Rec Center is now open, giving you access to the entire facility.. Since renovations are still underway, check out the Rec Sports website for the most current information on hours of operation, construction updates, and facility access . The Southside and Polo Road Rec Centers are open this fall and ready to welcome new and returning Aggies!
