Howdy! Texas A&M University is the leader in the world of collegiate archery. We have attained this status by earning many awards and record, including our legacy of the past 11 National Team Championships. Each honor that has been received has been done so through hard work, commitment, dedication and belief, not just within us or the team, but also in a place that only a few get to call home… Texas A&M. Our team is an eclectic one. We have members coming from places as far as Oregon, California, New York, and Wisconsin just to be able to better themselves as Aggies both at the archery range and in the classroom. This diversity on our team is one more example of the success of the Aggie network. Each student on out team has the opportunity to get out of it what they choose to put in. If one person joins with a goal of learning something new and becoming involved with a student organization then Archery is a great fit. If another person joins with aspirations of wearing a medal around their neck while standing on a platform at a world championship then we will do everything that we can to make that happen. Archery is a great sports organization for students at any level. We are a student organization with very much success throughout our past. While we have accomplished so much we continue to have standing and future goals.

1)Establish an endowment that will provide tournament funding and a scholarship program to aid in recruitment.
2)Act as an ideal example for up and coming archery programs at other universities.
3)Produce Aggie archers on an internationally competitive level for both world and Olympic teams.
4)Encourage academic and athletic success though rigorous standards and continuing support structures.

As you can see, we, the TAMU Target Archers, are a successful team and we look forward to continuing this winning tradition.

"Our mission is to facilitate the development of world class Aggies through an intercollegiate program designed to challenge and improve each archer by focusing on Aggie values such as leadership, education, and service.
