Sport Clubs

Archery
Founded in 1980, the Texas A&M Archery Club trains students to compete at the local, regional, national and international levels. Open to all skill levels, the club has earned national championships and helped develop Olympians while representing Texas A&M in competitive archery.

Baseball
Founded in 2000, the Texas A&M Club Baseball team competes at a high level in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA). In its first season of league play in 2001-02, the team captured the national championship in Colorado, establishing a tradition of success that continues today. The club provides student-athletes the opportunity to compete for conference and national championships while representing Texas A&M on a national stage.

Men’s Basketball
The basketball club was formed in 2013 as a competitive outlet for basketball players to continue their passion in the sport. The club currently practices twice a week and plays in the Lone Star Conference as well as the HCSBC Club Conference against other universities in Texas. Additionally, they participate in NIRSA regional basketball tournaments each year.

Women’s Basketball
Established in 2018, the Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Club gives students the opportunity to compete against collegiate club teams from across Texas and the nation. The club holds regular practices and competes in games and tournaments throughout the season while emphasizing teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship. Members also participate in community service and fundraising efforts that support the club. Whether continuing a competitive basketball career or developing new skills, student-athletes represent Texas A&M while building lasting friendships on and off the court.

Bowling
Founded in 1985, the Texas A&M Bowling Club provides Aggies the opportunity to bowl competitively and recreationally in either the men’s or women’s league. The Bowling Club fosters a tight-knit atmosphere by competing against other collegiate teams.

Cheer Squad
The Texas A&M Cheer Squad is an all-girl competitive cheerleading squad established in 2001 to promote the Spirit of Aggieland through college competition. Cheer Squad competes at several competitions each spring. The organization does not cheer at athletic department events nor represent itself as an official university spirit organization. Tryouts are held each fall, and all members must try out annually.

Climbing Team
Founded in 2004, the Texas A&M Climbing Team promotes competitive indoor rock climbing while fostering a strong climbing community. Members practice at the Student Recreation Center and compete in events across Texas throughout the year.

Crew
Established in 2001, the Texas A&M Crew Club is a student-run rowing organization dedicated to competitive racing and skill development. The team regularly competes in regattas throughout the region.

Cricket
Founded in 1999, the Texas A&M Cricket Club provides students of all skill levels the opportunity to develop their game and compete against collegiate teams across the country. The club promotes both competitive success and player development.

Cycling
Founded in 1976. The cycling club promotes all forms of bicycle racing in the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference, under the name of Texas A&M. Also to promote cycling in general and grow the sport as a whole. The club competes in mountain bike competitions in the fall semester, and road races in the spring semester.

Disc Golf
Founded in 2020, he Texas A&M Disc Golf Club promotes both competitive and recreational disc golf while building team camaraderie. Members compete in collegiate events and welcome players of all experience levels.

Founded in 1905, the Texas A&M Fencing Club competes regionally and nationally in foil, epee and saber. Open to beginners and experienced fencers alike, the club focuses on skill development, competition and sportsmanship.

Gymnastics
Founded in 1923, the Texas A&M Gymnastics Club has a long tradition of excellence, welcoming participants of all skill levels in both competitive and recreational gymnastics. The club fields men’s and women’s teams, emphasizing skill development, fitness and sportsmanship while providing opportunities to compete at the collegiate level. Throughout its history, the club has won multiple individual and team national championships.

Polo
Founded in 1967, the Texas A&M Polo Club helps its members improve their horsemanship, riding, and polo skills and provides opportunities to represent Texas A&M at local, regional, and national tournaments. Competitive events include D1 polo competitions as well as club tournament, Fall Fandango, Can Cup, and outdoor days. The club holds competitive tryouts early in the fall semester. Regular club members can join in either the fall or spring semester.
