POWERLIFTING CLUB NEWS
Three members of the Texas A&M Powerlifting Club are going to South Africa for the Powerlifting Junior World Championships! Come out and show your support by attending a fundraiser at Gattitown on Thursday, July 10 from 5-8 pm. Gattitown will donate a portion of the proceeds that evening to help send these three athletes and one assistant coach to the event. Help these Aggies represent their country on a world stage!

The Department of Recreational Sports supports the development and operation of the 30 student organizations that comprise the Texas A&M Sport Club Association. Each of the Sport Clubs provides for athletic competition along with opportunities for leadership and personal development.

Currently enrolled Texas A&M students, faculty, and staff paying Rec Sports fees are eligible to join. If you are interested in becoming a member of a Sport Club you may get more information from the individual club’s website or contact the Sport Club Office at 979-862-1996.
