About Group RecXercise

Drop-in fitness classes. Purchase an individual class pass or unlimited pass at Member Services.

  • Summer passes can be purchased beginning May 21
  • Unlimited pass: $30 per summer session or $50 for the entire summer
  • Individual class pass: $5 (good for admission to one class)

Body Blaster is a 45-minute muscular endurance class. Redefine your muscles with strengthening exercises using a variety of resistance equipment, for men and women. Equipment may include weights, medicine balls, body bar, resistance bands, or BOSU. Abs and stretching included.

Outdoor Water (Free) @ SRC Outdoor Pool

This 45 minute non-impact environment will help you gain cardiovascular fitness and strength in shallow water (4 ft. deep) using tubing, hand buoys and noodles for added resistance. Non-swimmers welcome. Lifeguard on duty.

High Intensity Interval Training is a non-stop, fast-paced, athletic powerhouse workout that is guaranteed to burn calories, get your heart pumping, and get you fit fast! H.I.I.T. will include cardio & strength-based intervals using the step, BOSU, jump rope, medicine ball, and floor drills. Core and stretching included.

Party At the Barre @ SRC 303

Barre class that weaves together traditional muscle-sculpting barre choreography with exhilarating cardio segments. Upbeat music with challenging exercises to lengthen and tone muscle. Equipment is provided.

BootCamp

BootCamp is designed to take your fitness to the next level! Class will meet two days per week with activities such as running, power-walking, plyometrics and cardiovascular drills, and resistance training.

Boxing BootCamp

Are you ready to unleash your inner athlete? Two nationally-certified personal trainers and group fitness instructors present an authentic boxing program that includes training on the heavy bag, speed bag, and Boxmaster, as well as full-body conditioning exercises. This workout will help build strength in your arms, legs, back, and core, and help to improve your cardiovascular endurance and self-confidence! This progressive program is suited for all fitness levels.

Bikini FitCamp is designed to build muscular strength and endurance, target the arms, chest, abdominals, glutes and legs. Class meets twice per week indoors.

A nationally certified group exercise instructor or personal trainer will come to your residence hall, organizational meeting or department for a private class, special event or educational lecture.
