Group Fitness & Classes Announcements

About Group RecXercise

Drop-in fitness classes. Purchase an individual class pass or unlimited pass at Member Services.

  • Individual Class Pass: $3. Good for admission to one class.
  • Unlimited Group RecXercise Pass: $70 Fall/Spring, $30 one summer session, or $50 entire summer.
    Good for any class for the entire semester. $10 off during first week of classes (spring and fall only)!

Cardio Step Party @ Room 301

Get ready to party it up. This class is a combination of step, kickbox, cardio ball, fun dances and more. Forty-five minutes of non-stop cardio calorie burn!

Strengthen, stretch and balance. Classes are geared toward fitness enthusiasts who want to learn and practice Hatha Yoga. Yoga mats are provided.

Cycle 45 @ Room 302

45 minutes of indoor cycling in your target heart rate zone. Power console measures your calories burned, distance, wattage and heart rate. Bring your water bottle and towel and get ready to ride! Pedals convert to SPD cleats.

Piloxing @ Room 301

Piloxing uniquely mixes Pilates and boxing into a fat-burning, muscle-sculpting workout. This class blends power, speed, and agility with sculpting and flexibility. A workout guaranteed to keep you coming back for more!

Redefine your muscles with strengthening exercises using a variety of resistance equipment for men and women to help redefine your muscles. Equipment may include weights, medicine balls, body bar, resistance bands or BOSU. Abs and stretching included. Body Blaster is a 45-minute class.

This total body workout will give you the long lean muscles you’ve always wanted. In the 60-minute, mat-work-based Pilates class, you will learn how to tone and tighten your entire body without ever lifting a dumbbell!

BootCamp

BootCamp is designed to take your fitness to the next level! Class will meet three days per week. Two days per week will be held outdoors with activities such as running, power-walking, plyometrics and cardiovascular drills, while the third day will be held inside and will be dedicated to resistance training.

 PiYo

Description: PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined. Class meets twice per week.

 Booty Barre

Description: Booty Barre is a sexy, energetic, ballet and Pilates fusion that is designed to firm your total body. The best aspects of dance, strength training, and Pilates have been combined to help you look divine from behind! Class meets once per week.

Fitness Outreach Services

A nationally certified group exercise instructor or personal trainer will come to your residence hall, organizational meeting or department for a private class, special event or educational lecture.
