Located at the corner of Tom Chandler Dr. and Penberthy Blvd., this 30-acre complex is the home of Texas Aggie Outdoor Intramurals and Club Sports. Named after W. O. Penberthy, the father of intramurals at Texas A&M, this award winning complex features a centrally located parking, control, and maintenance facility. To the east, lie 17 acres dedicated to the intramural sports, football, softball, and soccer. To the south and west, are fields dedicated to the club sports, soccer and lacrosse with a rugby pitch located on the east side of the campus on Polo Rd. Nearby is an area reserved for the archery club for outdoor practice. These fields are available for reservation at certain times to qualified University organizations for the support of their programs.
NEW! Beginning Monday, Sept. 7, we will be offering drop-in recreation at the Penberthy Intramural Sports Complex![PDF] Come out and enjoy soccer, football, softball, ultimate, or any other outdoor sport you enjoy playing. Equipment will be available for check-out at the control building during open hours. A valid student ID is required.
*Certain fields will be restricted based on the start of intramural play and/or the possibility of special events. Fields will close once intramural sports are done for the evening. If there are no sports scheduled for that night, the complex will close at 8pm.
