You Asked for It
Each semester, the Department performs a variety of customer satisfaction assessments to evaluate the quality of the programs/services we provide, but also allow for direct feedback from our customers. As a result of the information from these surveys, the Department made the following changes:
- The Indoor Climbing Facility incorporated Noontime Bouldering.
- Climbing routes are changed regularly.
- Instructional Classes were lengthened to 12 weeks.
- On-line registration for Texas A&M students is now available for most programs.
- Added new Group RecXercise classes each semester at times requested by customers.
- Provided stability balls on the third floor for open access outside of group classes.
- Provided disinfectant wipes for Group RecXercise classes that utilize floor mats.
- Brought new equipment into the Weight & Fitness Room, including Cybex Arc Trainers, FreeMotion training equipment and floor/ab training mats.
- To alleviate crowding in the Free Weight Area, new benches and multi-purpose racks were installed in October 2006.
- An increased emphasis has been placed on customer interaction and exercise advice from the Weight and Fitness Room staff.
- Adding concrete cart paths to the Golf Course.
- Created an IM registration table near Member Services to improve customer service.
